Division of Facility Support The Division of Facility Support is responsible for all youth, staff, unit management, treatment, security, operations, education, medical and dental services, and dietary operations within the DYS facilities. The Division includes the Educational, Medical, Behavioral Health, Unit Management and Security Operations bureaus. A number of programs in the facilities support the well-being and habilitation of the youth. These programs include the empirically supported interventions including New Freedom-Phoenix curriculum, Thinking for a Change (T4C), Aggression Replacement Training (ART), and Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS) as well as others that promote prosocial decision making like Victim Awareness. Complementary to this menu of programming is the Positive Response Incentive Driven Environment (PRIDE) behavior management system, family engagement initiatives and collaborations with volunteers and mentors.
